Strawberry Season

I just picked out first strawberries this morning.
Three, 3L baskets.
One for eating, one for canning and one to give away.

Now the kitchen work begins!

I have been catching up reading your blog, as I was absent from blogging for a while. You do so much, and your children (the pics of your two little girls) are so beautiful (and I can't believe how clean they stay in those pretty clothes!).

With all your manual labors, you probably really do need red meat. I used to be anemic (when I was young) and that is the best antidote.

I think you are so rich to have your farm and to be able to farm. And your children.

When I was young, and impressed by someone's material goods, my mom told me that the truly generous people have more children, rather then spending their money on material goods. I say that because I too, (speaking of an earlier post of yours) used to feel so depressed after visiting richer friends/relatives and the starkness of coming home to my house compared to theirs. I think it has taken me these last 32 years to get over that...when I realize that most of them just carry more debt! love, andrea

Don't you love this time of year?! Strawberries are everywhere you look here and are a staple in our freezer. I've just found your blog and what a lovely spot it is (: I look forward to coming back for more posts!

Hello everybody, here every one is sharing these kinds of experience, so it's fastidious to read this blog, and I used to pay a visit this website daily.

Woah! I'm really enjoying the template/theme of this site. It's simple, yet effective.
A lot of times it's very difficult to get that "perfect balance" between usability and visual appeal. I must say you have done a excellent job with this. In addition, the blog loads super fast for me on Firefox. Excellent Blog!
